Last Sunday (20th September) we celebrated the Harvest and gave thanks to God for all that he had done for us. Particularly remembering all the amazing food we have to eat! In worship we gave thanks by making a special offering of monetary gifts in aid of Cancer and Leukaemia research. The church was decorated beautifully with flowers and produce.
After the morning service the congregation then had Sunday lunch together. We started with soup with choice of 5 different flavours. We then ate a sausage casserole and finished with mouth-watering desserts! The proceeds again went to our harvest charity.
